Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said that details of the 2016 Appropriation Bill was still under review.
According to Lai Mohammed after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held in Abuja on Friday, the move was to enable each Minister “see how it affects his or her ministry”.
He further stated that, “As you all know we received the details of the 2016 budget from the National Assembly, yesterday, and an extraordinary meeting of the Federal Executive meeting was called this morning to avail every minister to look at the details of the budget and see how it affects his or her ministry.
“I must say that at this point, it is still work in progress, we have broken up. This is to say that; yes, we received it, we are studying it and we will come out with a statement later”.
