Dr. Zainab Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, first lady of Kebbi State, yesterday adopted a 10 year old girl, Sidika Bako the daughter of a 22 year old mentally challenged woman who roamed the streets of Birnin Kebbi.
The woman’s husband who also resides in Birnin Kebbi reportedly abandoned them after she developed mental illness.
The girl is now Siddiqa Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
While, her mentally unstable mother also taken to the hospital.
