Ghanaian actor turned politician John Dumelo recently set social media ablaze after he tweeted that presidential candidate Nana Akufo Addo will never win the 2016 elections.
He was criticized for endorsing present President John Dramani Mahama, after shaming his administration for incompetence.
John was accused of being a snitch and lacking credibility after an evidential photo that showed him meeting with Mahama’s opponent Nana Addo was made public.
According to reports, John had promised to support Addo’s campaign in the upcoming elections. However, he denied the claims.
Now the actor is revealing that his life is being threatened. During an interview with Kasapa FM, Dumelo stated that he has been receiving life-threatening messages since his declaration on Twitter.
“I keep on receiving threatening messages from anonymous persons. They are threatening my life…so many things for making a statement. But I give everything to God. They are issuing the threats on social media, anonymous phone calls and things. ” he stated
