Five Children Who Suffocated Inside An Empty Freezer Laid To Rest.

If you can recall, there was a post about some five children, aged between three and seven who were discovered and found by their grandmother inside an empty freezer at Kakamas Northern Cape, South Africa.

This five kids, Adrian Madjiedt, Jamiem Madjiedt, Anastacia Madjiedt, Elzaan Johnson and Elrich Johnson, all cousins were laid to rest on Saturday, January 30.

Northern Cape Premier Sylvia Lucas, who attended the funeral said
“It is times like theses which remind us just how precious our children are . . . they are truly gifts from the Almighty Father. As parents we should ensure that we give them our unwavering support and love at all times. We should guard and protect them to the best of our abilities to ensure their safety. In the spirit of ubuntu we should care for one another and share each others’ joy and sadness. Memories of these beautiful angels will forever remain with us and it is our prayer that their souls rest in eternal peace,” he also praised the Kakamas community for their support to the family of the children and also pledged to support the families in future.
